Silentum LoginSys is web-based application implemented in PHP.
The application is prone to an authentication-bypass vulnerability because it fails to adequately verify user-supplied input used for cookie-based authentication. Attackers can exploit the issue by setting the 'logged_in' cookie parameter to the admin username.
Successful exploits may allow attackers to gain unauthorized access to the affected application, which may aid in further attacks.
Silentum LoginSys 1.0.0 is vulnerable; other versions may also be affected.
