Title: W3C Amaya Multiple HTML Tags Buffer Overflow Vulnerabilities
Severity: HIGH
Description:
W3C Amaya is a freely available web browser and editor; it runs on multiple platforms.
Amaya is prone to multiple buffer-overflow vulnerabilities because it fails to perform adequate checks on user-supplied input. Specifically, '<td>', '<title>', and other unspecified tags are affected.
Attackers may leverage these issues to execute arbitrary code in the context of the application. Failed attacks will cause denial-of-service conditions.
Amaya 11.0.1 and prior versions are vulnerable.
Affected Products:
- W3C Amaya 10.0.1
- W3C Amaya 11.0.1
