Title: 2532designs 2532|Gigs Local File Include and Arbitrary File Upload Vulnerabilities

Severity: HIGH

Description:

2532|Gigs is a PHP-based application that allows users to manage events and concerts.

The application is prone to multiple input-validation vulnerabilities:

1. Multiple local file-include vulnerabilities affect the 'language' parameter of the following scripts:

'settings.php'
'deleteuser.php'
'mini_calendar'
'manage_venues.php'
'manage_gigs.php'

2. An arbitrary-file-upload vulnerability affects the 'upload_flyer.php' script. Specifically, the application fails to sufficiently sanitize file extensions before uploading files onto the webserver.

An attacker can exploit these issues to upload arbitrary files onto the webserver, execute arbitrary local files within the context of the webserver, and obtain sensitive information.

2532|Gigs 1.2.2 is vulnerable; other versions may also be affected.

Affected Products:

  • 2532|Gigs 2532|Gigs 1.2.2
