Title: Apple Open Firmware Insecure Password Vulnerability

Severity: LOW

Description:

The latest version of Open Firmware from Apple includes a password security feature which, when enabled, prevents the system from booting without entering the proper password.

Any user who can gain access to the Finder on a system with the Open Firmware password enabled can run a tool which reveals the password without having to decrypt it.
