Title: Adobe Flash CS3 Professional SWF File Heap Buffer Overflow Vulnerability
Severity: HIGH
Description:
Adobe Flash CS3 Professional is an application for creating Flash media files.
Flash CS3 Professional is prone to a heap-based buffer-overflow vulnerability when processing specially crafted SWF files. The problem occurs when handling excessively long control parameters within a malformed SWF file.
An attacker can exploit the issue by enticing an unsuspecting victim to open an 'SWF' file.
Successful exploits may allow the attacker to execute arbitrary code in the context of the affected application. Failed exploit attempts will likely result in denial-of-service conditions.
Flash CS3 Professional for Microsoft Windows is vulnerable.
