Description:
Ol' Bookmarks is a PHP-based application to manage bookmarks.
The application is prone to multiple vulnerabilities because it fails to sufficiently sanitize user-supplied data:
1. Multiple local file-include issues arise because the application fails to sanitize input to the following scripts and parameters:
'show.php': 'show'
'read/frame.php': 'framefile'
An attacker can exploit these vulnerabilities using directory-traversal strings to view files and execute local scripts in the context of the webserver process.
2. A remote file-include issue arises because the application fails to sanitize input to the 'framefile' parameter of the 'frame.php' script. This may allow attackers to execute arbitrary PHP scripts in the context of the webserver process.
These issues affect Ol' Bookmarks 0.7.5 and prior versions.
