Description:
Yogurt Social Network is a social-networking module for multiple CMS applications.
The application is prone to an HTML-injection vulnerability because it fails to properly sanitize user-supplied input to the description field of a scrapbook entry before using the input in dynamically generated content.
Attacker-supplied HTML and script code would run in the context of the affected browser, potentially allowing the attacker to steal cookie-based authentication credentials or to control how the site is rendered to the user. Other attacks are also possible.
Yogurt Social Network 3.2 rc1 is vulnerable; other versions may also be affected.
