Title: IDevSpot BizDirectory Multiple SQL Injection and Cross Site Scripting Vulnerabilities
Severity: MODERATE
Description:
IDevSpot BizDirectory is a PHP-based directory for business listings.
Since it fails to sufficiently sanitize user-supplied input, BizDirectory is prone to multiple input-validation vulnerabilities, including SQL-injection and cross-site scripting vulnerabilities, that occur because the application fails to sufficiently sanitize user-supplied data to the following fields:
'Username'
'First Name'
'Last Name'
'Title'
'Description'
'Street Address'
'Zipcode'
A cross-site scripting vulnerability also occurs in 'index.php' script when processing the 'get_id' parameter when 'page' is set to 'detail'. This issue also occurs when processing the 'mode' parameter when 'page' is set to 'browse'.
Exploiting these issues could allow an attacker to steal cookie-based authentication credentials, compromise the application, access or modify data, or exploit latent vulnerabilities in the underlying database.
Versions prior to IDevSpot BizDirectory 2.07 are vulnerable.
