Title: Drupal Suggested Terms Module Multiple HTML Injection Vulnerabilities

Severity: MODERATE

Description:

Suggested Terms is a module for Drupal, an open-source content manager that is available for a number of platforms.

Suggested Terms is prone to multiple HTML-injection vulnerabilities because it fails to properly sanitize user-supplied input before using it in dynamically generated content.

The issues affect input to unspecified fields in certain product features when authorized users create the Taxonomy terms in the website. Input will be stored persistently on the affected site and may be rendered by a victim when the page is viewed.

Attacker-supplied HTML and script code would execute in the context of the affected site, potentially allowing the attacker to steal cookie-based authentication credentials or to control how the site is rendered to the user; other attacks are also possible.

These issues affect versions prior to Suggested Terms 5.x-1.2.

Affected Products:

  • Drupal Suggested Terms 5.x-1.1
