Description:
PowerNet is a family of commercial hardware and software solutions intended to provide wireless connectivity across different platforms. PowerNet IX represents the part of the series geared towards Linux operating systems.
It is possible for remote attackers to cause a denial of service on PowerNet IX systems. If arbitrary ports are scanned, then the services they are attached to will crash.
The services must be restarted to regain their normal functionality.
NOTE: The exact cause of this issue has not been pinpointed. Updates will be published as more information becomes available.
