Title: A+ PHP Scripts News Management System Multiple Input Validation Vulnerabilities
Severity: HIGH
Description:
A+ PHP Scripts News Management System is a web-based application implemented in PHP.
The application is prone to multiple input-validation vulnerabilities:
1. A remote file-include vulnerability affects the 'skindir' parameter of the 'news/admin/system/include.php' script
2. Multiple local file-include issues occur because the application fails to sanitize input to the 'skindir' parameter of the 'news/admin/register.php' and 'news/admin/login.php' scripts.
3. A cross-site scripting vulnerability affects the 'e' parameter of the 'news/admin/register.php' script.
An attacker can exploit these vulnerabilities to include and execute local and remote scripts in the context of the webserver process. Attackers can also execute arbitrary script code in the browser of an unsuspecting user in the context of the affected site.
These issues affect News Management System 0.3; other versions may also be vulnerable.
Affected Products:
- A+ PHP Scripts News Management System 0.3
