Title: Aprox CMS Engine 'index.php' Local File Include Vulnerability

Severity: MODERATE

Description:

Aprox CMS Engine is a PHP-based content manager.

The application is prone to a local file-include vulnerability because it fails to properly sanitize user-supplied input to the 'page' parameter of the 'index.php' script.

An attacker can exploit this vulnerability using directory-traversal strings to execute local script code in the context of the application. This may allow the attacker to access sensitive information that may aid in further attacks.

Aprox CMS Engine 5.1.0.4 is vulnerable; other versions may also be affected.

Affected Products:

  • Aprox Portal Aprox CMS Engine 5.1.0.4
