Title: WFTPD Shortcut Directory Traversal Vulnerability

Description:

WFTPD is a popular FTP server software for Windows systems.

WFTPD contains a directory traversal vulnerability. It may be possible for remote users to upload shortcut files by appending a '.' character onto the end of the filename, thus bypassing the server protections.

As a result, it may be possible for remote users to gain access to files and directories that are otherwise protected.
