Title: Perception LiteServe Script Source Code Disclosure Vulnerability
Severity: HIGH
Description:
Perception LiteServe is a commercial e-mail, web, and FTP server for Microsoft Windows.
Perception LiteServe's webserver is subject to a vulnerability which will display the source code for arbitrary CGI scripts. To view the source code of CGI scripts, the remote attacker must craft a URL with the name of the CGI directory using the MS-DOS naming convention, for example 'cgi-bin' would be 'CGI-BIN' or 'CGI-BI~1'. This will cause the webserver to display and not execute the requested script.
The displayed script source code may disclose sensitive information, which can be used to mount further attacks against the host.
Affected Products:
- Perception LiteServe 1.25.0
