Description:
1C: Arcadia Internet Store is a online shopping utility for Microsoft Windows NT/2000 that is fully integratable with 1C: Enterprise, another popular Russian web-commerce utility.
'tradecli.dll' is the language interpreter that 1C: Arcadia Internet Store uses to process requests. It allows users to specify a template by way of a CGI variable.
When a value is provided for the 'template' variable, 'tradecli.dll' will attempt to open the associated file and output its contents to the client.
Since 1C: Arcadia Internet Store does not filter requests for dos devices, it is possible for an attacker to cause 'tracecli.dll' to open them.
It may be possible to cause a denial of service by requesting dos devices such as 'con','com1','com2',etc, as templates.
