Title: MoinMoin Multiple ACL Security Bypass Vulnerabilities

MoinMoin is a freely available, open-source wiki written in Python. It is available for UNIX and Linux platforms.
Since it fails to properly handle Access Control List (ACL) entries, the application is prone to multiple security-bypass vulnerabilities:
- ACL rules can be bypassed in the 'user form'. Exploiting this issue requires that ACL entries other than 'Known:' or 'All:' are used, or that the superuser list is not empty.
- ACL rules can be bypassed if the 'acl_hierarchic' option is set to 'True'. By default, this option is set to 'False'.
Successful exploits will allow attackers to bypass certain security restrictions and gain unauthorized access to administrative functionality. This in turn may lead to a compromise of the affected application.
Versions prior to MoinMoin 1.6.3 are affected.
