Title: AMLServer Directory Traversal Vulnerability

Severity: HIGH

Description:

Air Messenger LAN Server for Microsoft Windows allows users to exchange phone, pager and email messages through a Web gateway.

AMLServer comes equipped with a basic web interface so that paging services can be used on the WWW.

The web interface does not filter directory traversals('../') from the user-supplied input it receives. This makes it possible for a user to access files outside of the directory web documents are stored in.

An attacker may use directory traversals to display arbitrary files on the webserver. The possibly sensitive information disclosed to the attacker can be used to assist further attacks against the vulnerable host.
