Title: F5 BIG-IP Web Management Interface 'NEW_VALUE' Parameter Remote Code Injection Vulnerability

Description:

F5 BIG-IP is a scalable application-server device.

F5 BIG-IP Web Management Interface is prone to a remote code-injection vulnerability because it fails to sufficiently sanitize user-supplied data to the 'NEW_VALUE' parameter. Specifically, the application fails to sanitize single-quote characters.

To exploit this issue, the attacker must have Resource Manager privileges.

Exploiting this issue allows attackers to execute arbitrary code with the privileges of the user running the affected application.

This issue affects F5 BIG-IP 9.4.3; other versions may also be affected.
