Description:
Plume CMS is a content manager for dynamic web content, blogs, and customer forums.
The application is vulnerable to cross-site scripting attacks because it fails to sufficiently sanitize user-supplied input to the 'dir' parameter of the 'manager/xmedia.php' script.
An attacker may leverage this issue to execute arbitrary script code in the browser of an unsuspecting user in the context of the affected site. This may help the attacker steal cookie-based authentication credentials and launch other attacks.
This issue affects Plume CMS 1.2.2; other versions may be affected as well.
