Title: Microsoft Publisher Invalid Memory Reference Remote Code Execution Vulnerability

Description:

Microsoft Publisher is prone to a remote code-execution vulnerability.

The vulnerability occurs when the application tries to load specially crafted Publisher documents from disk. The application improperly validates memory addresses as the data is loaded into memory, facilitating code execution.

An attacker could exploit this issue by enticing a victim to open a malicious Publisher file.

Successfully exploiting this issue would allow the attacker to corrupt memory and execute arbitrary code in the context of the currently logged-in user.
