Title: PK-Designs PKs Movie Database 'index.php' SQL Injection and Cross-Site Scripting Vulnerabilities

Severity: MODERATE

PKs Movie Database is a web-based application for displaying movie information.

Since it fails to sufficiently sanitize user-supplied input, the application is prone to a cross-site scripting vulnerability and an SQL-injection vulnerability:

- An SQL-injection vulnerability affects the 'num' parameter of 'index.php'.
- A cross-site scripting vulnerability affects the 'category' parameter of 'index.php'.

Exploiting these issues could allow an attacker to steal cookie-based authentication credentials, compromise the application, access or modify data, or exploit latent vulnerabilities in the underlying database.

These issues affect PKs Movie Database 3.0.3; other versions may also be affected.

Affected Products:

  • PK-Designs PKs Movie Database 3.0.3
