Description:
Interscan Viruswall is a Virus scanning software package distributed and maintained by Trend Micro. It is designed to scan for virus occurances in both incoming and outgoing traffic via SMTP, FTP, and HTTP at the gateway of the network.
There is a buffer overflow in RegGo.dll. RegGo is a component of Interscan Viruswall which ships as part of the product.
This buffer overflow is exploitable. Attackers exploiting this vulnerability may be able to execute arbitrary code within Interscan Viruswall's security context.
Successful exploitation of this issue could lead to a complete compromise of the host.
