Title: FreeStats.com Remote User Info Modification Vulnerability

Description:
FreeStats is a free service which allows users to track web statistics.
The attacker selects the "CLICK HERE TO EDIT YOUR USER PROFILE & COUNTER INFO" prompt and the system loads 'edit.pl'.
The script does not offer any user validation features beyond storing the user id in a hidden form variable.
As a result, it is possible to save the output (a form) of edit.pl and modify the hidden variable. The user-id in the hidden-field can be changed to that of an arbitrary user on the system.
When the local copy of the form is submitted, the user whos ID was entered instead of the attackers will have their configuration settings modified.
It may be possible for attackers to cause a denial of service for users of FreeStats.
