Title: LiveCart Multiple Cross-Site Scripting Vulnerabilities

Severity: MODERATE

Description:

LiveCart is a PHP-based shopping application.

The application is prone to multiple cross-site scripting vulnerabilities because it fails to sanitize user-supplied input. These issues affect the following paths and parameters:

'user/remindPassword' : 'return' parameter
'category' : 'q' parameter
'order' : 'return' parameter
'user/remindComplete' : 'email' parameter

An attacker may leverage these issues to execute arbitrary script code in the browser of an unsuspecting user in the context of the affected site. This may allow the attacker to steal cookie-based authentication credentials and to launch other attacks.

LiveCart 1.0.1 is vulnerable to these issues; other versions may also be affected.

Affected Products:

  • Integry Systems LiveCart 1.0.1
