Description:
NoseRub is a web application that implements the NoseRub decentralized social-networking protocol. It is implemented in PHP.
The application is prone to an SQL-injection vulnerability because it fails to sufficiently sanitize user-supplied data to the 'username' parameter of the 'app/models/identity.php' script before using it in an SQL query. The vulnerable code is called from the 'pages/login' path during the login process.
A successful exploit may allow an attacker to compromise the application, access or modify data, or exploit latent vulnerabilities in the underlying database.
NoseRub 0.5.2 is vulnerable to this issue; other versions may also be affected.
