Title: ZeusCMS SQL Injection Vulnerability and Information Disclosure Vulnerability

Severity: MODERATE

Description:

ZeusCMS is a PHP-based content manager.

Zeus CMS is prone to multiple input validation vulnerabilities:

- An SQL-injection vulnerability occurs because the application fails to properly sanitize user-supplied input to the HTTP 'Referer' Server parameter of the 'index.php' script before using it in an SQL query.

- An information-disclosure vulnerability occurs because the application fails to sufficiently sanitize user-supplied data to the 'dir' parameter of the 'image_viewer.php'. Attackers can exploit this issue to view the directory listings within the context of the webserver.

A successful attack could allow attackers to obtain sensitive information, compromise the application, access or modify data, or exploit vulnerabilities in the underlying database.

ZeusCMS 0.3 is vulnerable; other versions may also be affected.

Affected Products:

  • ZeusCMS ZeusCMS 0.3
