Title: NetBizCity FaqMasterFlexPlus 'faq.php' Cross-Site Scripting Vulnerability

Severity: MODERATE

Description:

FaqMasterFlexPlus is a web-based application for managing FAQs. It is implemented in PHP.

The application is prone to a cross-site scripting vulnerability because it fails to sanitize user-supplied input to the 'cat_name' parameter of the 'faq.php' script.

An attacker may leverage this issue to execute arbitrary script code in the browser of an unsuspecting user in the context of the affected site. This may allow the attacker to steal cookie-based authentication credentials and to launch other attacks.

Reports indicate that similar vulnerabilities may also affect other scripts and parameters, but this information has not been confirmed.

All versions of FaqMasterFlexPlus are considered vulnerable.

Affected Products:

  • NetBizCity FaqMasterFlexPlus
