Title: aurora framework Db_mysql.LIB SQL Injection Vulnerability

Severity: MODERATE

Description:

aurora framework is a modular framework for rapid development of web and console applications using the MVC pattern. It is implemented in PHP.

The application is prone to an SQL-injection vulnerability because it fails to sufficiently sanitize user-supplied data to the 'value' parameter of the 'pack_var()' function in 'module/db.lib/db_mysql.lib' before using it in an SQL query.

A successful exploit may allow an attacker to compromise the application, access or modify data, or exploit latent vulnerabilities in the underlying database.

This issue affects versions prior to aurora framework 20071208.

Affected Products:

  • aurora framework aurora framework 20071127
