Title: Compaq Presario Active X 'LogDataListToFile' Vulnerability

Description:
A vulnerability exists in Compaq Presario which could enable a malicious web site to modify or place an arbitrary file on the hard drive of the visiting user.
Compaq Presario contains a customer support feature called Compaq Knowledge Center. The Compaq Knowledge Center is an internet based support service where users can research and resolve technical issues regarding their system. Some of the Knowledge Center features are implemented with Microsoft's Active X components.
A malicious web site could create or modify a file on a visiting users system via the 'LogDataListToFile' Active X control function.
