Title: Rsync Daemon Excludes Multiple File Access Vulnerabilities

Description:
The 'rsync' daemon is open-source software that provides fast incremental file transfer for UNIX-like operating systems.
The daemon is prone to multiple file-access vulnerabilities because it fails to properly validate 'exclude'-type options set in its configuration file ('rsyncd.conf'). Specifically, the options 'exclude', 'exclude from', and 'filter' are affected on rsync daemons configured to be writable. An attacker can access hidden files if the filename is known. This issue also affects symbolically linked files. Files with writable permissions may be overwritten.
Attackers can exploit these issues to read sensitive information or overwrite files with writable permissions.
