Title: Mozilla Firefox ParseFTPList Remote Denial of Service Vulnerability
Severity: MODERATE
Description:
Mozilla Firefox is a web browser available for multiple operating platforms.
Firefox is prone to a remote denial-of-service vulnerability.
This issue occurs when parsing file listings on malicious FTP servers. User-supplied input can cause the 'ParseFTPList.ccp' source file to use a 'pos' parameter value that exceeds the number of indexes in the 'tokens' array, causing an invalid pointer reference.
Attackers can exploit this issue to cause denial-of-service conditions.
Firefox 2.0.0.7 is vulnerable; other versions may also be affected.
