Title: A-CART Multiple Input Validation Vulnerabilities
Severity: MODERATE
Description:
A-CART is an ASP-based ecommerce application.
Since the application fails to sufficiently sanitize user-supplied input, it is prone to multiple input-validation vulnerabilities:
- A cross-site site scripting issue affects the 'productid' parameter of the 'product.asp' script.
- An SQL-injection issu4e affects the 'msg' parameter of the 'error.asp' script.
A successful exploit may allow an attacker to steal cookie-based authentication credentials, compromise the application, access or modify data, or exploit latent vulnerabilities in the underlying database.
