Title: Netjuke Multiple Cross Site Scripting Vulnerabilities

Severity: MODERATE

Description:

Netjuke is a web-based media player implemented in PHP.

The application is prone to multiple cross-site scripting vulnerabilities because it fails to sufficiently sanitize user-supplied input. Specifically, these issues affect the following scripts and parameter:

alphabet.php: val
random.php
admin/hidden.php

An attacker may leverage this issue to execute arbitrary script code in the browser of an unsuspecting user in the context of the affected site. This may help the attacker steal cookie-based authentication credentials and launch other attacks.

Affected Products:

  • Netjuke Netjuke 1.0-RC2
  • Netjuke Netjuke 1.0.0b1
  • Netjuke Netjuke 1.0.0b2
