Title: phpBG rootdir Multiple Remote File Include Vulnerabilities
Severity: HIGH
Description:
phpBG is a web-based gaming package.
The application is prone to multiple remote file-include vulnerabilities because it fails to sufficiently sanitize user-supplied input to the 'rootdir' parameter of the follow scripts:
/intern/admin/other/backup.php
/intern/admin/index.php
/intern/clan/member_add.php
/intern/config/key_2.php
/intern/config/forum.php
An attacker can exploit these issues to execute malicious PHP code in the context of the webserver process. This may allow the attacker to compromise the application and the underlying system; other attacks are also possible.
Affected Products:
- phpBG phpBG 0.9.1
