Title: 2532|Gigs activate.user.php Local File Include Vulnerability
Severity: MODERATE
Description:
2532|Gigs is a web-based application for musicians and bands to list and manage gigs.
The application is prone to a local file-include vulnerability because it fails to properly sanitize user-supplied input to the 'language' parameter of the 'activateuser.php' script. Specifically, the application fails to properly sanitize directory-traversal strings ('../').
Exploiting this issue may allow an unauthorized user to view files and execute local scripts.
This issue affects 2532|Gigs 1.2.1; other versions may also be vulnerable.
Affected Products:
- 2532|Gigs 2532|Gigs 1.2.1
