NuFW is prone to a rule-bypass vulnerability. This issue affects time-based filtering rules. Reports indicate that the application fails to filter packets with an out-of-period arrival time.
Successful exploits may allow attackers to bypass firewall filtering rules and carry out attacks against computers protected by the firewall.
Versions prior to NuFW 2.2.4 are vulnerable to this issue.
