Title: Advanced Webhost Billing System Multiple Vulnerabilities

Severity: MODERATE

Description:

Advanced Webhost Billing System (AWBS) is a domain management system.

AWBS is prone to the following remote vulnerabilities:

- A cross-site scripting vulnerability occurs because the application fails to sufficiently sanitize user-supplied input to an unspecified script and parameter.

- An information-disclosure vulnerability occurs because the application fails to properly control what information users can view regarding dedicated servers in a cohosting environment. Unauthorized users may be able to access sensitive information.

- An SQL-injection vulnerability occurs because the application fails to sufficiently sanitize user-supplied input to an unspecified script and parameter.

NOTE: Both the SQL-injection and cross-site scripting vulnerabilities are present only when 'magic_quotes_gpc' is set to 'off'. This is usually not the default configuration.

An attacker may leverage these issues to access sensitive information, access or modify databases, or execute arbitrary script code in the browser of an unsuspecting user in the context of the affected site. This may help the attacker steal cookie-based authentication credentials and launch other attacks.

These issues affect AWBS 2.5.1.

Affected Products:

  • Advanced Webhost Billing System AWBS 2.5.1
