Title: T1lib intT1_Env_GetCompletePath Buffer Overflow Vulnerability

Description:
T1lib is a library designed to generate bitmaps from Adobe Type 1 fonts. It is freely available and is implemented in C.
T1lib is prone to a buffer-overflow vulnerability because the library fails to perform boundary checks before copying user-supplied data to insufficiently sized memory buffers.
Specifically, the 'intT1_Env_GetCompletePath()' function from the 't1env.c' source file uses a 'strcat()' call without proper bounds checking. The destination of the copy operation is a statically allocated a 2048-byte buffer.
PHP's 'imagepsloadfont()' function is known to use the vulnerable T1lib function and is a known attack vector. PHP 4.4.7, 5.2.2, and 5.2.3 are reportedly vulnerable to this issue when compiled with the '--with-t1lib' configuration directive.
An attacker can exploit this issue to execute arbitrary machine code in the context of applications that use the affected library. Failed exploit attempts will likely trigger crashes, denying service to legitimate users.
We do not know which versions of T1lib are affected.
