Title: phpMyForum EditPost.PHP SQL Injection Vulnerability

Severity: MODERATE

Description:

phpMyForum is a web-based forum application implemented in PHP.

The application is prone to an SQL-injection vulnerability because it fails to sufficiently sanitize user-supplied data to unspecified parameters of the 'editpost.php' script before using it in an SQL query.

A successful exploit may allow an attacker to compromise the application, access or modify data, or exploit latent vulnerabilities in the underlying database.

Versions prior to phpMyForum 4.1.4 are vulnerable.

Affected Products:

  • phpMyForum phpMyForum 4.0
  • phpMyForum phpMyForum 4.1
  • phpMyForum phpMyForum 4.1.3
