Title: IBM Net.Commerce WebSphere Weak Password Vulnerability
Severity: HIGH
Description:
Versions of IBM NetCommerce and WebSphere ecommerce packages employ password encryption for their users' and administrators' passwords.
Where either of the vulnerable products has been installed using the default merchant key (in ncommerce.conf/ini), and where the site contains custom-written macros which exhibit certain security vulnerabilities, the products' password encryption is defeatable using a widely-published decryption tool. (See IBM Net.Commerce Remote Arbitrary Command Execution Vulnerability: http://www.securityfocus.com/bid/2350)
Compromise of the user accounts could result in disclosure of sensitive information and interference with the normal operation of the affected website.
Compromise of an administrator account may allow an attacker to obtain an elevation of privileges to that of the DB2INST1 account, and potentially issue arbitrary shell commands as the DB2INST1 user.

- IBM Net.Commerce 3.1.2
