Title: HTML Purifier ConfigForm.PHP Cross-Site Scripting Vulnerability
Severity: MODERATE
Description:
HTML Purifier is an HTML-filtering application implemented in PHP.
The application is prone to a cross-site scripting vulnerability because it fails to properly sanitize user-supplied input to an unspecified parameter of the 'smoketests/configForm.php' script.
An attacker may leverage this issue to execute arbitrary script code in the browser of an unsuspecting user in the context of the affected site. This may help the attacker steal cookie-based authentication credentials and launch other attacks.
Versions prior to HTML Purifier 2.0.1 are affected.
