Description:
WEBsweeper is an application used to monitor incoming and outgoing web traffic. WEBsweeper compares user credentials to the security policy and allows various levels of internet user privileges based on the user's identity. WEBsweeper analyzes requested web pages for inappropriate content and also limits user access to certain web pages.
Baltimore Technology WEBsweeper is subject to a denial of service condition. If an unusually long HTTP request is sent through WEBsweeper, the process will consume all available memory on the server where WEBsweeper resides.
A restart of the server is required in order to gain normal functionality.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability could assist in further attacks against the host.
