Description:
War FTPD is an internet FTP server by Jarle Aase.
Authenticated users can gain read access to the root where War FTPD has been installed. A specially crafted 'dir' command will disclose an arbitrary directory. This vulnerability could enable an attacker to gain read access to various files residing on the target machine.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability could assist in further attacks against the victim.
