Title: Solaris sysdef Vulnerability

Severity: MODERATE

Description:

The sysdef command displays system information such as loadable modules, kernel parameters, and hardware, pseudo, and system devices. A vulnerability has been discovered that, if exploited, may allow an unprivileged user to read kernel memory that may contain sensitive password information. As a result of this vulnerability, an unauthorized user may subsequently gain root access.
