Description:
Monalbum is a web-based photo application implemented in PHP.
Monalbum is prone to an arbitrary-code-execution vulnerability.
The vulnerability resides in the 'admin/admin_configuration.php' script. An attacker can exploit this issue by crafting and submitting a malicious HTTP POST request containing arbitrary PHP code to the vulnerable script. The attacker can then execute the malicious code by calling the 'conf/config.inc.php' script.
The attacker may need administrative credentials to access the affected script.
Successful exploits may allow attackers to execute arbitrary PHP code in the context of the webserver process.
This issue affects Monalbum 0.8.7; other versions may also be affected.
