Title: Novell GroupWise Mobile Server Multiple Vulnerabilities

Description:

Nokia Intellisync Mobile Suite is a set of server applications that provide mobility solutions for corporations. Wireless email, PIM synchronization, and device management are some of the services offered by Intellisync. Novell GroupWise Mobile Server uses Intellisync technology to provide similar services.

Novell GroupWise Mobile Server powered by Nokia Intellisync Mobile Suite is reported prone to multiple vulnerabilities. Reports indicate that these issues reside only in the bundled package; Nokia Intellisync Mobile Suite may not be affected on its own.

The following issues were reported in the web interface of the server:

- An information-disclosure issue allows remote attackers to obtain usernames of all users of the application. Attackers can trigger this vulnerability by issuing an HTTP GET request for the '/usrmgr/userList.asp' or '/usrmgr/userStatusList.asp' script. Information gathered may aid attackers in carrying out further attacks.

- An attacker can carry out a denial-of-service attack against users by deactivating their accounts or by changing their usernames. The attacker can do this by accessing the 'userList.asp' script and then changing user account attributes or by setting the 'active' attribute to false.

- Coss-site scripting issues affect the 'dev_logon.asp', 'registerAccount.asp', and 'create_account.asp' scripts.


Novell GroupWise Mobile Server 1.0 or other versions bundled with Nokia Intellisync Mobile Suite 6.4.31.2, 6.6.0.107, and 6.6.2.2 are vulnerable.
