Title: 1024 CMS Upload Manager Download.PHP Directory Traversal Vulnerability

Severity: MODERATE

Description:

1024 CMS is a content manager implemented in PHP.

The application is prone to a directory-traversal vulnerability because it fails to properly sanitize user-supplied input. The issue occurs when specially crafted HTTP GET requests containing a directory-traversal string ('../') are sent to the 'item' parameter of the 'download.php' script.

A remote attacker can exploit this issue to retrieve the contents of arbitrary files in the context of the webserver process.

1024 CMS 0.7 is vulnerable to this issue; other versions may also be affected.

Affected Products:

  • Treble Designs 1024 CMS 0.7
