Title: Psi-labs Photo Upload Share Script SQL Injection and Unauthorized Access Vulnerability
Severity: MODERATE
Description:
Psi-labs Photo Upload Share Script is a web-based application implemented in PHP.
The application is prone to an SQL-injection and an unauthorized-access vulnerability.
The SQL-injection issue occurs because the application fails to sufficiently sanitize user-supplied data passed to it via the 'Uid' parameter of the 'admin/editusers.php' script before using it in an SQL query.
The unauthorized-access issue occurs because the 'admin/editusers.php' administrative script allows direct access without requesting authentication. This may allow attackers to modify a user's profile by changing account information such as email or passowrd.
A successful exploit may allow the attacker to compromise the application, access or modify data, or exploit latent vulnerabilities in the underlying database implementation.
These issues affect Photo Upload Share Script 1.0 and prior versions.
Affected Products:
- psi-labs photo upload share script (psipuss) 1.0
