Description:
FireboxII is a firewall package available from WatchGuard Technologies. FireboxII systems are developed in various sizes and strengths, and are available in different models to fit enterprise needs.
Submitting multiple malformed packets to the PPTP service via a telnet connection on a Watchguard Firebox II, will cause the consumption of system resources.
A restart of the service is required in order to gain normal functionality.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability could assist in further attacks against the victim.
