Description:
The 'phpwebnews' package is a web-based news application implemented in PHP.
The application is prone to multiple cross-site scripting vulnerabilities because it fails to sanitize user-input. These issues affect the 'm_txt' parameter of the following scripts:
iklan.php
index.php
bukutamu.php
An attacker may leverage these issues to execute arbitrary script code in the browser of an unsuspecting user in the context of the affected site. This may allow the attacker to steal cookie-based authentication credentials and to launch other attacks.
This issue affects phpwebnews 0.1; other versions may also be affected.
